Witch - Pain Offering issues on controller

The Pain Offering skill is extremely difficult to use on controller. Auto-targeting rarely works when in combat with enemies, as your character does not appear to target a minion in this case.

When it does work (usually with some intentional aiming on the right stick), it often sacrifices a minion that you wouldn’t want to sacrifice (eg Skeletal Brute).

It may be best if some sort of user configuration / auto-priority existed for skills like this one — for example, I’d much prefer to have the command auto-target a Warrior, and failing that, a Sniper, before a Brute.

I double this. The PS5 version requires some improvements to aiming when using such skills (not only Pain Offering). Some priority settings or smart targeting so the console players don't feel they are inferior to PC players.
I add onto this. Pain Offering minion targeting is really random on xbox series x. It sometimes works perfectly towards the minion you are casting at, sometimes casts at a minion behind you and half the time it misses the minikn even if you perfectly are directed towards them. It is quite frustrating and makes the experience really inferior to the PC experience
It is painful to use this skill on PS5....no matter how I click it just won't work at all!
+1 !!!!!

I have changed some equipment and made build changes for a skill that I cant use on the controller..(
The controller worked much better on PoE, the new targeting system seems worse on PoE 2
To me it seems completly random the activation and cant trigger everytime I want
Seconded. Extremely annoying. What's worse is that it seems like mana is still consumed even if it doesn't cast the skill. So I'm continually hitting the button for it, using mana potions, and also trying to not die/use other skills. Not fun.

I would recommend making a configuration for a skill with a flag. That will say something like:

"This skill can be targeted by an offering" - YES/NO - default is YES.

This way I can set a flag to NO for my Brute so that they cannot be targeted.
I second this as well.
The way targetting is handled for Pain Offering is terrible, specially when you are in the middle of a fight. I have to press the button over and over again to try and get the skill to trigger and usually, it sacrifices a minion which is right in the middle of the fight and the offering gets destroyed right away.

Hope they can fix this.
