My bad experience and issues PS5

Hello , 1st and foremost I do try to enjoy the game I really do but :

1. Finally got past 3rd act on cruel mode after like 200+ deaths later I pass the last boss , due to lack of good drop for my character , not sure if its intended or I'm just not lucky enough , plus I know I can craft good rare gear but again I need exalted orbs however I have never got even 1 yet . From my experience so far the drop rate of other gear is excellent for other classes yes all the time but for my warrior nope not even 1 good 1 , most of my gear I got from gamble npc .

2. I feel like certain defences on my warrior do not work properly , I have 75% on each resistances apart from chaos , I have tested this on lower act to not be killed as easily without armour and I get same amount of dmg or even more as I would with armour so it does not make any sense to me to have all the % on there if this do not work properly . So without anything on me I had like round 1k hp and got hit 1 time and death , with all armour and all bonuses stacked I had over 2k hp on same map act 1 cruel mode got 1 hit and death .

3. Standard issues like every one else with screen tearing and really bad performance , at best on 1st map of end game I had 10-15 fps , ping sometimes jumping to 100's therefore my character 1s is here and the next he is there and dead . On occasions map do not spawned properly so I do not see ground just light blue screen .

4. Drop rates even with % on rings and necklace for better loot , still very poor drop rate is , like I mentioned before I have never got 1 exalted orb as of yet despite the fact I'm at the end game.

6. Cracking noise from time to time during gameplay its insanely annoying .

7. That 1 is for forum mods - you have nearly 35 pages with 30 post ( round 1050 ) on it , and maybe we get few responses from GGG team , you guys are slacking .

8. Trials of Sekhema are broken , every time you fail there , there is no option to leave or nothing , need to reset game in order to continue playing .

9. In your cash grab shop you have 2547 skins and yet for ps5 there is only fraction of that , seems you put more effort in this then pay attention to ps5 as all of this is not available on ps5 just for pc players .

10. GGG team you had such a success with 1st poe and gained more experience in running the game , it meant to be next gen quality but so far it feels potato quality why can't you deliver same performance for 2nd game especially for ps5 ?

11. GGG team support is still non excitant , I have sent several emails and no response for any of them . Happy to take your money and that is that .

12. GGG I get that everyone is entitled to a Holiday or a break , but come on for how long you will run same excuse . Plus you run business and you are game developer not ebay seller . How come pc keep getting patches and updates and ps5 not ?

13. All of the above are just my thoughts so far and by writing that I did not mean to offend any of you players . GGG team it is directed to you lot .

It seems like you have two actual issues, and then just a bunch of feedback.

The cracking noise is on their known issues list, and just having to restart your game when you die in trials is a minor inconvenience.

They've been on holidays, and just came back on Monday. If you've emailed their support for anything before POE 2 you would know that their support is top notch, and would normally get back to you within an hour of emailing them. Surely you can understand they are overwhelmed right now.

Sorry for posting in the thread, I don't think I'll be able to visit this page regularly, and therefore there is not much sense to start a new thread.

I'm enjoying the game and I wish it to be very successful on launch.

However, I've come here to ask the Devs to pay their attention to performance and graphics issues on the PS5 (AFAIK, currently most of the issues are actual for PS5 pro as well).

1. Screen tearing is insane. Maybe that's because my TV doesn't support 120 Hz and VRR, but it's just unbearable sometimes.

2. FSR seems to be the only viable option to achieve an OK picture, but somehow graphics seems to be worse than in POE1 (while artistically-wise, POE2 is miles ahed in my opinion). Please find ways to optimise performance to achieve as good picture as possible for 60 FPS.

3. Textures shimmering - that's probably FSR? Still, I've not noticed anything as bad in other games on PS5.

4. Performance in cities is disastrous.

5. Much fire on the ground usually results in massive FPS drops.

I do understand this is beta, and many aspect are yet to change, but I want to draw attention of the devs to the issues. There are others, not related to the graphics and performance, but these are currently the most irritating. Many people share the same issues on Facebook and in other social media, but very few come here and share the issues here.

Hopefully, the Devs will fix the issues soon so we can fully enjoy the game even before the official full version launch.
