Map-Level Sekhema Ascendency System is Extremely Frustrating

Just played through an enraging sekhema trial where I was denied minimap access and given reduced max honor and reduced water, all forced on me by the rooms I HAD to go through to progress.

Of course, partway through the second trial (after completing the first FULL trial with bosses and everything) I run out of honor because of a mechanic I've NEVER SEEN BEFORE where a pressure plate on the ground let out some poison gas. Other pressure plates in the same room were actually necessary to stand on in order to open doors and progress.

How the hell am I supposed to know that these other pressure plates release poison gas without trial and error? And if that trial and error takes away my small and finite honor pool how is that fair? I am playing an infernalist minion build and RARELY get hit, but with the amount of chaos and random bullshit happening in these trial rooms sometimes, it's impossible to never take any hits, especially throughout the course of THREE FULL TRIALS!

Some rooms even have the "survive" mechanic and it spawns like 50 mobs at once and instantly the screen is covered with fireballs, gas clouds, lightning bolts, crossbow shots, burning ground, you name it! How in the everloving hell am I expected to not take any hits??? But that's what the honor mechanic expects of me!

Imagine if I was a melee build! What a fucking joke GGG come on, this is a dogshit system and pretty much everybody agrees on that. I'm having no fun engaging with it, and I cannot complete my character until I do apparently.

I know you've already built the system this way but you NEED to change it. Honestly I have less and less motivation to play the game if I will always have to engage with this sekhema trial bullshit, and I see a TON of reddit threads and comments to the same effect.
