Short explanation - I use Blood Magic and Vitality Siphon to virtually remove spell costs. The final piece is either Atziri's Acuity or Fast Metabolism annoint (I use it on the video) - Metabolism is theoretically better, idk if it's actully better or not. I also scale Chaos damage with two Ming's hearts and Despair + Wither from Withering Touch on Eye of Winter. And of course I pre-buff with Sigil of Power on weapon swap, and use increased effect of Curses on weapon swap.

But if you're making a new Witch, check out my Demonform Bonestorm build - it's overall stronger, faster, cheaper and more flexible than Blood Mage.

Also, you can do this build on literally any Ascendancy, because there is a unique chest that gives you 5% spell leech. So a Stormweaver or Invoker version could be even stronger.

Increased Meta Energy is not needed, Bonestorm gives us more Energy than we can spend with our Life cost. So things that reduce skill cost or increase our leech will result in more CoC procs.

What does Fast Metabolism do for this build? Does it allow leech to overflow life or does it just keep the leech going at max life so you stay at max easier?

The latter. You can see on video how the first cast of bonestorm procs only one or two comets, but if within short time I hit with more bonestorms, they trigger more comets, because the leech keeps topping my life to cover the life costs for CoC. Perhaps replacing Spell Echo for some other damage support might even increase dps by making costs cheaper.

m8 i follow maxroll setup but......something wrong.... video show something and planner show another....sure you don't add all gear/gem/explain on planner.....and so i spent all my divine for.......hope u change something really don't know how to play with this build.....

Well, I'm focusing on bossing here, mapping requires a bit different setups. There are many options available - Bone Cage with Envenom + Bursting Plague and Herald of Plague, pure Bonestorm with Snakepit and Chain or Ricochet, also you can map with Bonestorm/BoneCage CoC DD, but it's better to find spirit on amulet/chest to also get Grim Feast. And once you have high enough damage for maps you can replace focus with shield for more survivability.

can u explain for an hybrid version?

i mean is ok focus on boss but this not my second char so i like to play this one for all the content, with your setup is not simple to stay alive on t15 waystone....(or i'm not able to do that)

There's not much to explain, I simply equip shield, don't even change passives, though for mapping it's definitely better to take some nodes from damage and put them into max ES.
