Unique gloves Jarngreipr do not allow you to upgrade gems

I'm trying to use unique gloves Jarngreipr in a warrior build on quarterstaves. With these gloves strength can satisfy other Attribute Requirements of Melee Weapons and Melee Skills.

Now there are two problems:

1) You can cut completely new skill gems, but you won't be able to level up your current gems, causing a lack of agility/intelligence bug (which shouldn't happen with these gloves). Constantly replacing gems with new ones is a bad idea, because old gems have sockets attached to them.

2) Gloves do not work at all with the staggering palm skill, although it has the melee tag.

Please fix this.
