Bug: Act 2 The Spires of Deshar Vile Vulture Mob Spawn Bug

The Vile Vulture mob that hangs over the walls of the zone run at me then disappear to only reappear jumping over the wall. This is not a major bug but does interrupt the fight flow of the zone.

Can confirm that I have run through the campaign on three characters and this has happened every time in normal and cruel in Deshar. The vile vultures have an odd habit of disappearing out of existence seemingly when you don't have exact line of sight to them and it's more obvious playing a character that uses projectiles (merc xbow & ranger bow in my case).
It's most noticeable when they spawn in and you back down a set of stairs to avoid the initial jump attack. As soon as the player character goes down that set of stairs and/or changes their height slightly from the platform the vultures spawn on, the vultures literally disappear: models, SFX, healthbars - every part of them. When the player gets LOS on them again they wink into existence just as they're about to hit you. It's jarring because as far as I can tell (and I've gotten into endgame and seen most of the content at this point), this happens with no other mob. Even in endgame if you have vultures present and a tileset with differing heights, the issue still repeats. Actually, I tell a lie, you sometimes get it happening in one of the ultimatum trials where the monsters kinda flicker into existence as you get on the elevator down into the "kill all monsters trial" (I forget the exact name sorry). |
