Blink in PoE2 CD Recovery Rate does not work

Hi,
I upgraded the quality of the Blink gem to +20% and it is supposed to give 10% CD Recovery rate, with the recommened support gem Ingenuity that gives 30% Increased CD Recovery Rate, but it does not lower the CD time of Blink. Removing the gems the base is 3.70s cd. And with the gems it is still 3.7 sec cd. With 40% CD recovery Rate the Cd should be about 2.22 seconds. Last bumped on Jan 19, 2025, 7:25:03 AM

Recovery rate doesn't actually decrease the number shown on the timer - instead, you will notice the timer counting down more quickly.
For example: Your skill gem has a 10 second cooldown time. If you have 30% increased recovery rate, then your skill will cool down by "1 second" every 0.77 actual seconds (0.77 = 100% / (100% + 30%)). This means that your ability will be usable every 7.7 actual seconds, but will still show 10 seconds when first used. This is the same as "Debuffs on you expire X% faster". |

" I was just starting to make something for my Blink ability and im using 1 gem that gives 50% cooldown recovery and 1 that gives 30%. According to what you say it should go down from 3.3 seconds to somewhere below half, at least, but it doesn't. Both the numbers stay the same and the actual timer takes those 3 seconds. Been taking the time as well... sooo seems to be either bugged or there is something wrong. This is in Poe2 btw. |

Second wind is not giving you 50% recovery rate. It's decrreasing the rate and you are able to use it twice. But it loads slower. There is only 1 gem for recovery rate, its ingenuity.
