Is SSF in POE2 Just Easier Intentionally?

I rolled an SSF Warrior using the video linked below as a guide. It was fun and the made warrior, which I had dismissed, viable. I got to the end of Act 1. I killed King of the Mist on Second try (first being a boneheaded mistake) and Geonor on the first try then Rathbreaker on the second try, whereupon I died to the pack and lost loot.

I then rolled the same char in trade league. It was harder. King of the Mists took 5 tries, Geonor took only 1 but I died to an AOE he fired in his last gasp (the red beams from the sky thing). Rathbreaker took me more than 10 tries as the adds of hyenas seemed much more numerous and tough.

I have also dropped 4 uniques on my SSF and only one on my Trade league char.

So did they make SSF easier? I would agree to increase the loot drops of currency because you are SSF but I would prefer to have the rest of the game be exactly the same.

If you are looking to try warrior, I cant think of a better guide than this one by P4wynhof.
