POE 2 EA couch-coop encountered bugs
Hi. I will list some of the bugs I have encountered while playing couch - coop on single machine (PC) with separate Xbox and PS controllers. I have played for about ~100 h this way.
1. Oswald in act 3 and later in Cruel disappears after meeting him. He simply is not visible where he should be. He only reapers later in ACT 3 when he gives his magma quest (idol quest). 2. It is not possible to pick up or defer ritual rewards while in couch - coop. Have to log out and reenter as single player to do so. 3. While in couch - coop, player 2 cant pick up waystones. Even when loot is allocated as "Free for all". 4. If one player dies in a map, randomly get black screen. I don't know if this is intended, but if Player 1 dies, then about 80% of times, Player 2 can still complete the map. There is plenty of time before a black screen appears, sometimes it doesn't at all. If Player 2 dies, black screen shows up in 100% cases, usualy in less than 30 sec. In that short of a time its inpossible to finish a map (only if its a bossfight (last enemy)). 5. When putting legendary items in a stash tab, ~1/4 tries results in a game crash. Doesn't matter if legendary stash tab slot is empty or full. 6. In trial of Sekhimas, Player 2 must open trial and put in relics otherwise trial gets bugged and the first room cannot be completed. After finishing the first floor, Player 2 must be the first one to interact with door to floor 2, otherwise door doesn't open. Haven't seen this in floor 2 to floor 3. 6.1. Haven't tested this much, but encountered a new bug in Trial of Sekhimas. First time tried to open a 4 floor trial and the first room was bugged. Did the same method with Player 2 inserting trial and relics. Instead of automatically putting us in the first trial room (Hourglass for example) it put as in a room with a book where you select the next room to go to. Because its the first room , no other rooms can be selected and when selecting the only room available it does nothing. So essentially its bugged and its not possible to start the trial. Probably will have to cancel this run and insert all as Player 1. Will update if it works. Some bugs that are minor and I haven't been able to replicate: 1. Player one opens inventory in map while player 2 keeps running around. Something happens and Player 1 just disaperas from map. Camera centers on player 2 (folovs him). Player 1 cant be seen but can randomly shoot out attacks. Player 2 had to portal out to fix this. Happened in solo play. 2. In ACT 3 Viper fight managed to bug character out of the shield wall minions. Basically I was outside designated fight (boss) area. Player got stuck, unable to move. Attacks could be shot but was blocked by shield wall minions, but some could be shot inside arena. Viper boss moved outside screen (couldn't see her) so don't know if it was possible to kill her. Logging out didn't help, as I was put back inside the same place. Teleport doesn't work because that technically counted as a boss area. Had to log out and wait till the instance was done. After that was automatically placed at the checkpoint before boss. Sorry if some of those bugs have been posted already. Thought that I would give some feedback to the devs and community :). I can second, third and fourth this on the PS5. I have seen all of these. The latest is Aggorat. When in co-op party we cannot click on Aggorat or even SEE it but if we join a Public Party we can get to the stairs but we cannot click on it. If we drop to character selection and I come in solo, I can enter Aggorat and get the Waypoint but when I co-op back I cannot get to it and the issue is there.
I am going to try to run BOTH characters solo in a party to see if each of us can get the waypoint separately and then use it together. But I also ran into the Trial issues as well, especially the one where I as the primary character died on the first try and it would not accept any new Bariyas to work until Player 2 did it. |
