List of "minor" afflictions to outright REMOVE from the game
- Sharpened Arrowhead: You have no Armour
- Shattered Shield: You have no Energy Shield - Iron Manacles: You have no evasion - Worn Sandals: 25% reduced movement speed (makes the final fight 100% IMPOSSIBLE to win, how is that MINOR???) - Myriad Aspersions: When you gain an Affliction, gain an additional random Minor Affliction These "minor" afflictions are basically instant game over afflictions. Sharpened Arrowhead is okay because no one uses armour for it's intended purpose.

I agree, these are too much player build destroying. I think it could be better if these mods were inverse to something like :"Monster armour cannot be broken below 25%" or such.
If you deal phys damage only, it's an annoyance/makes the run harder, but you don't have to end it. Perhaps better would be something like +25% phys damage reduction, so that armour can still be broken for builds that rely/might rely on it. Just throwing my 2 cents here and bringing visibility :) |

Yeah, some of these "minor" afflictions are actually pretty funny! 😆 When I was new to the trials, I went in with my Ranger, fully built around evasion defense. I picked what I thought was a "minor" affliction, and it turned out to be "No Evasion." As you can imagine, since evasion was my only defense... it was GG! 😅
I think some of these afflictions should either be renamed to "major afflictions" to better reflect their impact or at least have a clearer warning. Another option could be adding a detailed list in-game, showing exactly what effects each affliction can have, so players can make more informed decisions instead of getting completely blindsided. afflictions should just go away in general
it is so easy to loose a run out of pure bad luck you just get locked into a path with no way to escape it that locks you into nonsense like loose water on hit fountains are empty (or give less or smth i dont remember) enemies dont drop water makes you just unable to ever restore your honour if you get hit like 3 times in between shrines and as i said sometimes you just dont get to decide if you wanna even take those or not bc the choice is between loose water on hit or reduced movement speed or enemies dont drop water with the other choice being a cursed shrine that also gives you spiked shell and probably also shoves your mom down a flight of stairs or smth it is such a braindead mechanic, you just play with risk aversion in your mind and nothing else just for the game to tell you to kindly eat a bag of dicks sometimes |

" I vote for an "I Win Button" MTX for your hideout. You push it and it sets off fireworks and a giant "You Win!" sign appears. That should meet all of their requirements for "fun" right? |

" Not at all. It's not uncommon for the initial opening of the Trial Map to show all-affliction rooms. Perhaps something could be implemented to prevent such RNG. |
