Ascent to Power quest bugged in Act 2 Cruel

I fought balballa and cleared every area of the traitors passage. The Ascent to Power quest still says I need to find something in the area which I already have, but because it won't move the quest forward I cannot do the act 2 cruel trials. If there is a way to fix this or if a dev could fix this it would be great. I have been getting trial coin drops and going back to the regular act 2 to do them and I don't know if that somehow contributed to the issue, but it is still pretty annoying that the quest is sitting there while I am unable to do anything about it.
