Strange blue glow around objects

These strange objects have fallen out on the maps. What's with the glow around them, and the emblem on the die?

You're asking this in the wrong section of the forum, this is for Path of Exile 2 Early Access and what you're presenting is from the first game.

As for your inquiry, that glow derives from the type of influence the item holds.

On the first picture, the item has a Fracture modifier(The one in light yellow) and you can tell by the 2 round icons next to the items' name, and it is not considered an influence by the community.

The 2nd picture has a Redeemer-Influence(One of the four Conqueror bosses in-game) hence why it emits a blue aura around the artwork. There are several boss-type influence equipment you will discover, they offer a unique set of modifiers that only derive from such influence.
