Trial of Chaos is so poorly designed it's laughable
Farming this today I encountered so many cheesy mechanics..
There was a swtich placed in between 2 petrify statues. So basically since you lose control of your character when you pull it AND it's ridiculously slow, you're guaranteed to be petrified. At this point if you've taken any of the area affix just about all of them can kill you while you sit there stoned. I even tried to pull the switch from the back but of course my character pathed around to the front where the statues were. Glob spawned and landed on me, then I had to just sit there and watch my char die in the +2 blood pool. Last bird boss on another run was the multi - level room. I had taken and buffed the expanding runes affix. Unfortunately in THAT particular room, when the rune spawns and starts to expand, it's distorted by the stairs/levels and also the center point is basically invisible. It just doesn't render half of the graphic so you really cant tell where you're supposed to stand to avoid damage. Another run again on the last bird boss I kill him from across the screen and for some reason my character takes a huge backlash hit for over 8k poison. I even tried to potion through it but the dot was too strong. There was no projectile and nothing in range to actually hit me. It was almost like a reflect damage poison hit. No idea, just an unbelievably cheesy way to end 10 rooms with me actually killing the boss easily. Other than that, selling the stuff from completing the lvl 80 ultamatiums is pretty good if you don't get hella cheesed but some of these things need some serious re-working as far as where the AI places things and the visibility of others.
