What killed me

While mapping, the amount of times i just randomly die or get 1 shotted to something popping is unreal. Either its the ground or some corpse popping thing off screen, so so many times ive said "what killed me", its rather difficult to try and imrpove on what im doing wrong when i dont know whats the cause of my death. Its quite frustrating, even in diablo 2 it would say "mephisto killed you", or one of his screaming spirits. With poe 2 its like oh yeah your dead, look around the screen and try and investigate, however the screen is locked on death so i cant scroll around to see what was offscreen, and no battle log to see if it was floor effect, or random corspe, or random spell. I dont even do rituals anymore, thats a guaranteed death sentance teir 1 - 15.

mostly it would say random white mob killed you.
so that aint helpful. I think a dmg breakdown of the last 5s before death would be better in general. the game is weird in a sense that i died more to white mobs than i ever did to rares or bosses. It is not only often effects but auroattacks are hella strong. once you let 2 mobs smack you in the face without moving my 7k energy shield disappears within 1 second lol |
