Caged God Staff find gone

Hello.

I bought the caged God staff yesterday. All good so far.
5 minutes ago this staff dropped from a boss on a map.
I picked it up... Checked my inventory... The staff is gone.
Only the staff I bought yesterday is still slotted. But the now one.. Nada.. Any explanation?

Is this a bug?
