Maps suck!

Constant random 1 shots from white mobs in T15 maps is frustrating and removes any and all enjoyment for me. I am 78% evasion, resist capped, can eat most boss hits, but a random white mob in a map will 1 shot me randomly.

I don't care about the elitist mentality of "git gud", mapping is way too punishing. Losing all my XP + the boss node for dumb shit destroys the game for me.

These mechanics under normal circumstances would be alright I guess. But with the absolutely ABYSMSAL visual clarity from not only the environment and the skills being used, 99% of the time I'm left sitting in my chair wondering wtf just happened.

Some of those forest maps are sooo terrible with visual clarity, I sometimes can't even see a mob at all.

Some of you may agree, some may not, w/e we all have opinions, but for me personally, this is not fun. Games are supposed to be fun and if they arnt, then w/e I play something else. Havnt logged in for a few days and honestly don't see myself playing anymore unless that's fixed.

Such a huge disappointment, the campaign was incredible, dying on bosses felt rewarding as every mechanic was well telegraphed which allowed learning, and each attempt saw me progress, but in maps, I just have no clue wtf is going on.

So yea, don't waste ur breath, I am fully aware GGG and the elitist don't care, and I don't care that you don't care, just giving my thoughts and putting the game down for awhile. Mapping feels like a waste of time.

I would assume that it is something else. But if you really get one shot by white mobs, your defenses are too low. With resist cap do you also mean Chaos?

How much Health/Energy Shield do you have? Do you have any mitigation like physical damage taken as fire, physical damage reduction, something like this? Do you use any keystones that shift damage like Mind over Matter?

Evasion is not mitigation, it is avoidance. You can avoid a lot of attacks, but at some point you will get hit and the damage of that hit is not mitigated without other defenses.

Having capped resistances is expected in PoE. The game is balanced around capped resistances. You can think of it like with 75% resistances you take 100% of the expected damage. If one would only have 50% damage they would already take twice as much damage as expected. To demonstrate a 400 fire damage hit with 75% resist = 100 damage, with 50% resist 200 damage. So already double.
