Garbage design from Archnemesis that never should have made it into this game. Reduce the frequency of the orbs or remove it entirely.

Best part.
Mob can be frozen. The plants keep attacking ... They are not linked, its a non stop attack regardless of the mob state. Trash .. another AN mistake still around. During trial... Occurs way too frequently on rares, unearned damage, frequency of orbs are like walking on egg shells. With massive monster density this shit is ridiculous.

I think an appropriate fix, without making any additional changes/nerfs, would be making the orbs entities that can be damaged by attacks and spells. Upon being attacked/killed, they go off as normal.
That fact that they cannot be dispatched besides juking them with movement is just too much to ask for, considering how easily they can be obscured in on-screen effects, and particles. If this fix is not in the patch notes tomorrow, then I'm seriously considering giving up this game. Maybe for good. Plenty of reasons to just wait until launch, but if this goes unchanged, I really have no interest in seeing anything else. It is THAT bad. |
