Logbook turning off keyboard

As the title says as a lvl 79 Frigid Bluff logbook turned off my keyboard completely.
No input aside from the mouse worked, couldnt alt-f4 out, so had to shut down the PC entirely. Logging back in, the keyboard worked fine until i re-entered the logbook, then the keyboard turned off again.

*Timed Detonations and Legendary Battles are allocated in the Expedition tree.
