When will we get any news about the actually fully working and released awesomeness that is Poe

As I recall promises were made that the teams for Poe 2 and Path of Exile were to be kept separate. That development of Poe 2 would not in any way, shape or form have an adverse effect on the continued releases of content for Path of exile.

Now obviously you choose to go back on that promise, seeing as how our "next league" became the same league, with the same challenges and 1 added function from the prior league.

Having enjoyed Poe 2's EA for a few weeks I still find myself a bit miffed though.

Where are the news about the upcoming league? Or the news about when news about the upcoming league will be announced?

Will this just be a starvation of new content for Path of Exile until we get a private initiative like Diablo 2 eventually had?

I hope that isn't the case and that news are shipped out as soon as the teams are back from the holidays.
