Possible scam unsure

i had a whisper for an item i was selling so i went to my guild hideout and invited said player and within 10 seconds he had brought another 2 or 3 people in, it was rather suspicious so i kicked them all incase theres a bug theyre exploiting. also when i wispered him asking why he invited others he did not respond so i reported incase theres something going on
