Gold to Guild Gold transfer not working

My friend created a guild that I then tried to donate some of my personal gold to. This didn't work and ended up crashing the game. When I logged back on my personal gold went down but the guild gold stayed the same. I tried a few more times to find a fix and the only thing we found was when he transferred ownership of the guild to me. Through this process, I lost ~700-750 gold.
