Couch CO-OP x Online Multiplayer

Hey Everyone,
Just started playing this game on PS5 with my friend at home (offline so to speak) and we are loving it.
I was just wondering if there is any plans, or is it even possible, to allow two couch coop players to join online multiplayer?
Not a lot of games have this option. Call of Duty MW multiplayer cage matches allowed two players playing couch co-op to go online with split screen and take on two other online players but they couldn't do it for Warzone or the larger game modes like demolition or hq.
It would offer a lot more playability for friends and family. Since the PS5 is usually connected to the TV and it is generally one per household. Getting two players online from the one console would boost your concurrent online player metrics and make this game even more massive.
