Perpetual Charge doesn't count as charge consumption

The description of Perpetual Charge explicitly states it will "still count as consuming them" so it should grant the bonus Energy Shield in this scenario.

Can confirm it's not working for me either. Doesn't trigger the node until the charges are actually lost despite the wording of perpetual charge.

Just noticed this Perpetual Charge also does not count when consumed by Barrage. I have the passive where my Evasion goes up when consuming a Frenzy

I stared at my Evasion chance at 75%, used Barrage and kept the charges = No increase. When I used Barrage again and the charges were consumed, the Evasion chance changed to 80%
