Rings/Belts/Amulets, Itemization in General

Rings/Belts/Amulets are too rare

Rings/Amulets that do drop, the implicit is almost always mid-range or less, with no way to re-roll. Where are the Blessed Orbs?

Rings, I'm very tired of every single ring that is dropped, offered by a vendor, and/or crafted getting/having an Accuracy roll. Last 3 Prismatic rings that dropped in Act 2/3 Cruel, all Magic:

- 281 Accuracy
- 161 Accuracy, 10% Mana Regen
- 71 Accuracy, 7% Fire Resist

What are you supposed to do with this? Reforge? I did that:

- 61 Accuracy

Seriously, WTF? Where are the Alteration Orbs? Also, why are item level 55+ rings, which are rare to find to begin with, rolling garbage, low tier affixes that you would not care about beyond Clearfell in Act 1?

Itemization and drops in POE2 are terrible. Cruel, Rare chests dropping 31 gold and a single blue item you don't care about. Cruel, Act Bosses, first kill:

Act 1: 1 rare, 3 blues, and a bit of gold; Thanks for the Regal Shard
Act 2: 3 rares, 3 blues, and a bit of gold; Thanks for the 3 Regal Shards

Yep all vendor trash.

Also, by the time you get to Cruel, all White/Magic drops are trash unless superior or having sockets. Without quality or sockets there is no point. ID/Transmute/Augment, as soon as the item has a bad affix that cannot be undone, the item is vendor trash, and you are not going to waste your time vendoring for Gold; wasting your time for scraps, maybe. But there will be a point where you don't care about the scraps either.

We need Blessed and Alteration Orbs to make picking up quality/socketed Whites/Magics, and crafting, worthwhile. Or, if not this, then Regal and Chaos Orbs need to be more readily available so that we'd be more inclined to gamble Regal'ing a Magic with a garbage affix and if lucky, continuing the gamble with a Chaos. But, we really need Blessed and Alteration Orbs to craft.

Finally, with the current state of everything, Jewel drops are too rare too. Every one that drops is unusable when the drop doesn't contain a Mod you for your class and build. If you want Jewels to be so rare, then we need to be able to reroll the mods, especially since the POE2 skill tree places holes in our pathing that need to be filled in, unlike POE1 where you had to path to the Jewel sockets if you wanted them.

FFS, another Magic Prismatic Ring:

- 137 Accuracy, 25% Fire Resist

I'm a spell caster. Stop the silliness.

You're right
GGG told us rares are gonna be... well, rare
And every rare drop would make us happy
But I'm not happy with rolling another ring with a1 stats. It doesn't make sense, it halts the progress and makes building even harder than it already is. There's no other option than buying them from more lucky players, since its too expensive to craft one than to buy one
Well, it's Early Access and the game isn't done. I'm not really sure the game is even ready for Early Access. But anyhow, I'm not trading. I want to know how good or bad the game flows by simply playing through. And so far, it's not that great.

Itemization and the ability to craft (i.e. gamble) is a real road block to progression. Personally, I'll deal with it and soldier on because I have been playing POE for 13+ years. I remember when there wasn't an Act 2. And Zombies had to be re-summoned upon entering every new area. So, I understand growing pains.

People I brought into POE2 EA however, well, they have quit playing. Understandable with the current state of progression. I hope GGG get things ironed out during EA, because if the current state of progression remains in the game come full release, I'll just be done. Current POE2 is too much grinding for no real reason and going back to POE1 is just not going to happen. Things that POE2 has done right have made going back to POE1 impossible for me.
