PS5 Trail Death Bug

A buddy of mine has been playing PoE2 on PS5. Today he had the multiple instances of the game freezing when killed by Rattlecage in The Trail of Sekhemas. At no point does this occur when dying at any other point in the Trail. Is anyone else having this issue on Console? Or is it just a PS5 thing?

UPDATE: Issue now occurs at every death with in the Trial of Sekhemas
