Early Access Steam Key Issue

Hi Team, I just received a steam key from a friend and successfully activated on Steam but when I try to play the game it says "Your account does not have access to Path of Exile 2 Early Access"

I have tried syncing my account to Steam, relogging in on both Steam and official PoE website. I am downloading the standalone client now to see if it works.

I have been going on community page on both steam and PoE but haven't found a fix for my issue.
