Lost Loot-Died w/ Boss

Just killed the Mad Wolf and died at the same time as the boss. The hooded one arrived and my loot dropped once he finished the scene. Upon respawn all loot is gone and so is the option to relight the boss. I was under the impression this was already patched prior to buying the game. Critical fail, removes the desire to pushing through the game imo
