"Unblockable" boss attacks that are blockable?

the intention of the red highlighting on bosses and the scary sound effect when they do certain attacks is that the subsequent attack is UNBLOCKABLE, right? as in, active shield blocking should not work against the attack (and i assume passive blocking too but who knows)?

i just started a new playthrough of the campaign (mainly to test how usable shields actually are for melee) and noticed that the devourer has both of his projectile attacks (frontal and sweeping version) do the unblockable signaling even though i could actively block both of them.

i dunno what your intention is with these attacks in particular, since they seem like the sort of attacks you SHOULD expect to be able to block, so either they are being falsely flagged as unblockable, or are not properly set to be unblockable. only the devs can know for sure.

i was just going to make this a bug report about the devourer boss, but instead ill try to list all of the boss attacks that i notice are signaled as unblockable but are actually blockable below, as i continue my playthrough:

- devourer: both spitting projectile attacks (frontal and sweeping/cleave versions)

- uhhhh actually thats it? possibly the multiple attack sequence of the ultimatum bird-man boss (see post below)

ok so it turns out that the devourer is the ONLY boss with this incorrect signaling in the entire campaign. figures that it would be pretty much the first boss to have a problem and lead me on a wild goose chase...

the only other possibility (which i forgot to test thoroughly) is the ultimatum man-bird boss - it does a sequence of slashes that have the unblockable signaling even though they look like something that could normally be blocked. whether or not they are actually unblockable, i'm honestly not sure. i sort of think i may have blocked one or more of the first attacks in the sequence but i may be mistaken (i was moving around too much). double-check it just to be safe :P
