A New PoE players perspective

I'd like to start off by saying some of the things I'm about to list or discuss may simply be, as many say, a skill issue. I'm okay with that, please just point out where I may be incorrect in my thoughts of game difficulty or mechanics.

For the sake of understanding my perspective listed below are notes about me as a player.
-200+ Hours in game.
-98 Hours of Ranger gameplay.
-Play on both PC(mnk) and XBox.
-Other characters consist of more range, have not played a melee more than a few minutes.
-T15 Mapping

Now my complaints/suggestions.

1. Player Zoom
This is something I can't quite explain in good detail other than just saying the camera feels slightly too close. Even as someone playing a range character the edge of the screen sometimes throws me danger too quickly for me to react. It may be the size of my monitor, but I think a bit more of a zoom could benefit.

2. Death + On Death Effects
This is actually something I seem to be at odds with the community on. I like the concept of exp loss on death. Many improvements need to be made to make this feel better though. I think what upsets the majority about the exp loss is a variety of things.

A. Not only do you lose exp, you lose drops, map, and map modifiers. This doesn't feel great at all in the later levels. Losing a chunk of your exp and a juiced map to something you couldn't even see leaves a bitter taste.

B. On Death Effects are a mess. When you mix in player animations, spell animations, built in rare death animations, on death effects, ground effects and projectiles it is hard to see what is happening on screen. Sometimes it feels as though certain animations can't been seen or don't actually go off. Almost as if certain things take priority over other animations.

I can't imagine how much worse some of this may be on melee characters.

This is something I'm not really sure how to clean up, I'm not a game dev just a player.

3. Early Game Doesn't Promote Theory Crafting
I personally enjoy taking a thought and trying to build my own ideas around that. Mixing things up trying different build paths and weapons is an interesting concept to me. It's very clear though early on if you're not following a certain path builds hit a wall. I believe this could leave new players looking for another game instead of hitting forums/google up for a guide that a lot of other players are playing.

These are just some thoughts, I'm not sure how to fix them but just thought I would throw it out there. I also understand it is EA and that is what prompted my posting. A lot of this has already been said or noted on the forums. I'd like to end with I absolutely love this game, the enjoyment I am getting has been unmatched as of late.

Thank you.

I don't even get into the game, just think how lame those guys from Poe2 are
The campaign is pretty skill based. End game mapping is just hope you don't lose control of your character in the middle of ground based damage and on death effects.
