YOUR Slams can be evaded
https://youtu.be/4zLXQ-D_wSQ
Saw people saying that Slams cannot be evaded and therefore do not need accuracy a bunch recently. As you can see in the clip, this is not true. The player needs Acrobatics to evade attacks but enemies don't. Slams are still attacks and therefore affected by accuracy. The character in the clip usually uses Resolute Technique which is why the accuracy is so low. Last bumped on Dec 31, 2024, 10:54:29 PM

Why are you still torturing yourself with a slam build , just make something else until buffs come or new gems.

" I don't actually do a slam build. Leap Slam is just to prime for Boneshatter and bosses I do Infernal Cry with HotG and Perfect Strike. It just also gave me a good character to showcase the Slam Accuracy thing. |

"Thanks for informing, that's unexpected. "The issue here is when you are reading the Accuracy description: Accuracy is used to hit a target with an Attack, and is checked against the targets Evasion to determine that chance. – you might be tempted to also read the Evasion pop-up, since accuracy is checked against it (i.e. they're closly related): Evasion grants a chance to avoid enemy Strikes or Projectiles. Exact chance of success also depends on the attacker's Accuracy. The only conclusion we can draw from the combination of these definitions is that slams don't use accuracy. If the current behaviour is intended, GGG should improve given pop-ups. |

Praying for a buff to slams when its most likely getting nerfed (way too easy to scale AoE) when they come back is funny.

" Some people like playing things that look cool or fit their power fantasy. Not everyone wants to just look up a meta build and get bored with the game right away. |
