Quality of Life Feedback Regarding Guilds & Trading On Console
First and foremost, I’d like to commend you on the launch of Path of Exile 2. The updates, expansions, and improvements have been exciting, and it is clear that the game has grown in both scope and player base, leading to an even more vibrant community. As Path of Exile continues to evolve, I’d like to offer some constructive feedback regarding the in-game guild system and console trading experience that could greatly enhance the overall player experience.
1. Improvement to Guild Management System The release of Path of Exile 2 has brought in a larger player base, which means the role of guilds and their management has become more critical. With this increased player base, I believe the guild management system could be enhanced in a few key areas: • Additional Guild Ranks: Currently, the available ranks in guilds may not be enough to accommodate larger guilds, or those with more specialized roles. I would suggest allowing guild leaders to create one or two additional custom ranks to better manage the growing number of guild members. More flexibility in rank creation would allow for a more structured hierarchy. • Rank Permissions Customization: Guild leaders should have the ability to fine-tune the permissions of individual ranks. For example, allowing different ranks to have control over inviting or expelling members, promoting/demoting others, and managing guild tabs. This would make the management of a large guild much easier and less reliant on the guild leader for every small action. 2. Console Guild Quality of Life Improvements While the game’s PC version has robust guild features, console players have some quality of life challenges, particularly around managing guilds. The following improvements would greatly benefit console players: • Guild Message of the Day Visibility: Currently, on consoles, it can be difficult to view the Guild Message of the Day (GMoTD) clearly, especially when it is updated frequently. A more prominent, easily accessible way to view the GMoTD within the guild interface would help players stay updated on announcements, events, or critical information without having to navigate through multiple menus. 3. Console Trading System Improvements Another area that could see improvement is the console trading system. Right now, console players have to use the website to conduct trades, which is time-consuming and not an ideal experience for many console players. A smoother in-game trading system would be a major quality-of-life improvement. • Reintroduce the Trading System from the Original Path of Exile Console Version: The trading system implemented in the first Path of Exile for consoles, which allowed for item listing, browsing, and easy searching directly in the game, was far more convenient and intuitive than the current process. I recommend reintroducing this system, or something similar, to Path of Exile 2 on consoles. This would allow players to trade items without needing to switch to external websites, thus saving time and improving the overall experience. A well-integrated, in-game trading system, with features like searchable item listings and item categories, would be a huge improvement for console players. 4. Other Suggestions • Quality-of-Life Tweaks: Small quality-of-life adjustments to improve the overall experience with guilds, such as a system to check if a player is already in a guild when trying to invite them, would be greatly appreciated. We all look forward to seeing what y'all have instore for us with Path of Exile 2. Last bumped on Dec 30, 2024, 11:36:29 AM
