Incomplete Boss Battles and Missing Quest Items

Some bosses on the map cannot be completed after defeating them. For example, "RootDredged" and "Ignagduk, The Boy Witch" do not drop any quest items. I completed the same side-quest in Act 3, but I cannot complete it in Act 3 Cruel difficulty.
