The local coop mode has too many bugs
Bugs and Suggestions for the Game
1- End Game Crash Issue If one player dies in Atlas, the other cannot finish the map because the game crashes and shuts down. 2- Mission Synchronization Problem If the two players are not perfectly synchronized with their missions, one of them has to exit the game in certain cases, as progress is otherwise impossible. Please allow players to complete missions even if they’ve already been done. They wouldn’t get rewards for repeating them, but at least they can continue without having to leave and rejoin the game. 3- Resurrection and Distance Issue If one player dies and cannot be revived, the other player is blocked from advancing. It seems there’s a maximum distance players cannot exceed, which makes progression impossible. 4- Joining a Game Issue To join an ongoing game, I have to exit to the character selection screen and then re-enter. However, if the active player doesn’t find a Waypoint or Checkpoint in time, I’m stuck waiting. Worse, after leaving to let the second player join, when we return to the map, everything resets and has to be done again. 5- Desert/Atlas Map and Leader Issue in Local Coop Only the leader can access the Desert/Atlas Map, but in Local Coop, there’s no option to promote the other player to leader. 6- Controller and Screen Position in End Game In End Game, I’d like to decide which player uses Controller 1 or Controller 2, as this determines who is on the left or right side of the screen. Sometimes, the game decides the leader based on the character chosen, and if the second controller’s character becomes the leader, they can’t access the map or perform other actions. 7- Ziggurat and Other Location Bugs Ziggurat has numerous bugs. As reported in other posts, if two players enter Ziggurat together, the game often freezes. To proceed, one player must enter alone, select another destination, and then rejoin with the second player. This issue also occurs in other locations. 8- Visual Effects Visibility Effects from enemies, characters, or the environment often obscure the screen, making it impossible to see what’s underfoot. 9- Abilities and Terrain Bugs Many abilities don’t work as intended. For instance, spells fail to activate in certain corridors or areas, and some terrain elements disrupt movement or spell casting. 10- Unfair Deaths Some deaths feel completely unfair. Enemies can shoot from off-screen, immobilize, poison, or freeze me without giving me a chance to see or react. Losing a map and experience due to these issues completely ruins the sense of fairness and progression, feels like the game decides when you’re meant to die. It’s reminiscent of the infamous “momentum” mechanic from another game. Suggestions: 1- Resurrection Time Reviving a player takes 5/7 seconds, which is too long, especially when being attacked interrupts the process. Either reduce the time needed or allow revival to continue even while under attack. I should be able to decide if I have enough shield and health to pull it off. 2- Loot Balance Divine Orbs are too rare, while too many useless items drop. The drop rates need rebalancing. 3- Inventory Space The inventory is too small and needs to be expanded. 4- Skip the Campaign for New Characters Starting a new character forces me to redo all the Acts, which is frustrating and boring. There should be an option to skip the campaign and start in End Game at level 50. From there, it’s up to the player to level up and progress as they wish. Last bumped on Dec 30, 2024, 9:48:41 AM
