trials needs a lot of work
Trials needs a lot of work, some stages are fine, some are annoying, other are just plain badly developed and frustrating.
Sekhema: Merchant that doesn't sells items when you chose the next room is bad, really bad, you either want a warning when opening the next room if you want to keep him this way or just let people buy stuff with the next room opened. gauntlet rooms are hideous honor system is frustrating boons are not that usefull, good boons are rare, afflictions on the other hand are terrible and too impactfull, some runs ends when you are forced to chose between 2 bad afflictions or forced to chose the only path available. third boss is not even hard is just boring, too much time underground waiting for her to do her things Chaos: Again some debuffs are meaningless, some are run ending. maps are always the same, not much of a trial just a chore. for both the trials: the "one death" system is bad, if we wanted it we would play hardcore. losing maybe 1 hour or progress just for a bad tumble or whatever could happen feels bad and frustrating, the whole thing doesn't feels like a challeng but more like a chore you have to succeed once and then stay away from it all for the rest of the game. " This. True. After all you don't start from lvl1 when you die in this game. I was thinking the problem with the trails is the same as the lack of checkpoints in the Dreadnought in Act 2... Which they fixed by adding some more. The trials would need some checkpoints as well. Last edited by 100luz#0970 on Dec 30, 2024, 8:47:37 AM
