BIG SOUL GEM QUEST DONE BUT STILL TELLS TO COMPLETE

so me and my friend have comepleted perfectly fine, my other friend who was in the party did the quest with us but we completed the quest fine but for him the orbs in the alter in the infested barren , but its also telling him he needs to place the orb in the alter thing, but if he drops its and leaves etc the soul orbs still there but then it tells him to re do the quest basically




the only way it worked was he had to die for it to reset
yes he went to his own instance and logged out etc
