Question regards to passive skill tree "Trick Shot"

Hi everyone, I was wondering if Trick Shot actually benefit the lightning arrow skill?


Trick Shot node says: Projectiles have a 15% chance to chain an additional time


I'm asking this cause Lightning arrow in the skill tooltip has 2 tabs: One for "Projectile" other for "Beam" Projectile part says "can't cannot chain, and the Beam part says: Chain count: 2.


Also I use these support gem on my lightning arrow: Martial Tempo, Ice Bite, Cold Infusion, Primal Armament, among herald ice/thunder and its a breeze

But for some reason I think Trick shot doesn't do anything on lightning arrow, right?
