PS5 Shutting Down

I'm in Act 2 and my PS5 started shutting down mid-game. It seems like when there is a lot of activity on the screen. There is no message to indicate that the PS5 is too hot and no crash report option is given. It just shuts down.

I've already taken the plates off and checked for any accumulation of dust, so I don't believe this to be an issue with the PS5 needing to be cleaned.

Also having this exact problem. In act 2 too.. but has happened in act 1 as well. It’s happened about a dozen times in a week. I hope we can get this patched asap. Do you know what model PS you have? Mine is from launch - CFI-1000A-1018A.

So I think I figured out the problem. I had the CEC setting enabled on my PS5 and when another connected device went into power-save mode caused the PS5 to react and go into rest mode.

I believe going to System -> HDMI and disabling "Enable Power Off Link" will resolve the issue. *fingers crossed*
