The concentrated effect support gem does not seem to be effecting the damage for herald of thunder. The skill tooltip will show the AoE shrinking from 1.6m to 1.1m as expected, but there are no damage changes. Last bumped on Jan 6, 2025, 2:24:32 PM

That's not a bug. Conc Effect only boosts area damage, which are hits that themselves have an area of effect. The support will shrink the AoE of any skills that have one, whether those skills deal area damage or not.

" So what's the point of having a bolt impact radius if it is a single target hit? What is this impact radius doing? I don't thin it's the radius from the player where the bolts will land, because they definitely have been landing much further away than 1.6m around my character. The bolt from herald is single target by itself so shoudn't benefit from aoe damage increase. But someone f'ed up when added conc effect support to recommended for HoT. Guess lot of new players got mislead by that. POE 1 had much more clear and simple rules for skills. If skill has "AOE" tag on, it will benefit from aoe damage increase supports and passives, which is not wlways true in POE 2. And without pob it's even more complicated to find proper supports.
