Constant Latency Spikes POE2 PLS FIX

Getting constant latency spikes of 20ms-500+ms, making the game pretty much unplayable. Its so bad that its actually sometimes easier and more enjoyable to play on the server with the worst ms possible just so its more consistently terrible. its to the point where I am thinking of uninstalling because its just not fun to play what feels like a literal slideshow at times

I also don't think this is my ISP considering I play multiple different online games and have a near perfect 20ms.

Definitely not my PC specs either.

Having same issue.

Every 4-5 seconds the game slows down for half a second then goes double speed to catch up to where it should be. Once in a while is no big deal. But its every 4-5 seconds the latency bumps up +100-300ms and then shoots back down.

the little gizmo that appears using F1 shows its a network issue, not my pc.

Went and checked if poe1 was having same issue, and it wasn't. ping stayed between 20-50ms.

Found a solution that I wanted to pass along. may not work, but worked for me.

Task manager -> details -> right click poe2 -> set affinity -> turn off core 0

problem immediately went away.

This is rendering the game fully unplayable for me, the network spikes every few seconds despite having a stable high quality connection.

Network latency spikes. Only this game.
