Currency exchange problem on ps5

I finally make it to cruel act 1 and I'm excited about the currency exchange. But it won't let me use it because I get a message saying my account isn't verified. Well, that's false because I know damn well my account is verified. Can somebody please tell me how to solve this problem. Please and thank you.
