[PoE2] Game hardlocks my PC while loading, I need to manually reset PC.
After I play the game for a while, I'd say about an hour or so, my game stops at a random loading screen and I cannot recover my PC at all, doesn't respond. I have to reset it manually.
I have 32 gigs of ram, 9900k, and a 2080ti. I'm reluctant to continue playing, can anyone suggest what to do? Last bumped on Dec 28, 2024, 4:18:00 PM

I also experience this, but I can't even get past the character selection screen. Everything worked fine before but suddenly I can't seem to get it going again.
I heard about some auto-HDR issues so I completely disabled those settings on windows and POE2 but still the game freezes my system entirely. Verifying game files through the steam library did nothing so now I am trying to reinstall the game and see if it reoccurs with default settings. Will update after those steps are done |

Thanks for your replies everyone.
Please share how it went, the more reports the higher the chances this gets looked at, thanks everyone! |

I have the same problem, but have not found a work around or solution for this issue. Seems completely random. Yesterday, this happened to me no less than half a dozen times in a 2 hour play session, but today, only happened once in a 4 hour session.

Could anyone submit their logs for comparison? I am currently reinstalling so they don't exist for me anymore. But I figure it should be in your game folder(steamapps/common/pathofexile2) and log folder with either logs.txt or client.txt
After a crash occurred that is. Post it as an image so we don't have any weird URL's roaming and also saves you time EDIT//UPDATE: gonna edit this reply to not spam this thread. After reinstalling and starting up the game normally it crashed yet again after playing for only 13 minutes. The last log entries don't really help much as they give me no further clue to why or that it crashed. As a reference here the last lines of entry: " Hope any one of the tech supports stumbles on this and can help us any further(can submit whole log file if needed) Last edited by GibbyNation#6197 on Dec 28, 2024, 7:01:52 PM
