Playing with friends does not seem worth it

My buddy and I really want to play together, but it has been such an annoying journey. I had 20 levels on him for a while and was in maps while he was finishing cruel. I would help him and get near nothing from it. It really did not bother me because I knew I was much higher level and gear than he was. But now he is running maps with me, and it is clear to us that running together is a waste. The map owner gets the vast majority of waystone drops and seems to get the better loot/currency drops; Most runs the map owner is getting 90% while the other is lucky to get a single one. It honestly feels like XP is just cut in half vs when I am running solo. It becomes harder, but for what purpose if the XP is cut in half?

We have decided to run solo now, which really sucks. I really hope there is something done about this and running as a pair or group becomes more of a viable option.



Side note, why can we not res one another? Asking vs complaining here, as I just do not understand why we cannot do that.
