Path of Exile 2 needs to be toned down
One of the most immediate things you notice playing the game is the DIFFICULTY. Now when i say "difficulty" in many other games this word can mean many different things. Unfortunately in PATH OF EXILE 2, difficulty just means increadibly high enemy damage, spicifically BOSS DAMAGE, and also BLUE MINIONS and GOLD MINONS. I find this unfortunate as POE has always been a game that encourages building your character in whatever mode of survavivality you wish your character to have, whether through HP, ENERGY SHIELD, or MANA. Unfortunately all these modes of survivality in the game are renderred irrelevant, because in the gamee, no matter how you build your character, there will always be BOSSES and BLUE or GOLD enemies that can one shot you or 2 shot you. And although some players might find that an attractive gameplay, as an ARPG player for many years, I find that it makes me feel that I have a weak and extremely killable character, and that I have made very little progress in making my character strong and durable. And so despite the hours I have invested in the game, my character is still killable by one hit. And so in my mind it feels like my charachter has made no progress. Unfortunately, and realistically as a player, that feeling encourages me to quit the game, and I really do not want to. I sincerely hope that when full access and the full game releases, the game is toned down, so as to encourage more casual players like me
