Early access = closed beta ?

If, after Early Access, we don’t have access to the new Standard servers, and there won’t be any players left on the Early Access servers anyway, why can’t we at least respec for free? Is this just some kind of paid closed beta? I don’t get it. What’s the point of the supporter packs with all the skins if they can’t be used on the Standard server? None of this makes sense—can someone explain?

Just like with PoE1. There was closed beta, then ea and after that open beta for free to all.

The EA characters are in standard league. This is not closed beta...the is early access. Stop confusing the two.
