Meteoric Shrine
I just got one shot in a tier 14 maps with no dmg mods by a meteor from shrine(off-screen ofc), I have over 6.7k ES and the first shot was over 5k dmg so I used temporal rift to recharge my ES did one step and got one shot...is the shrine dmg based off phys dmg(got 0 AR) or just overtuned?!Cuz I just min-maxed by defence after being unable to do any red maps and now I feel like there's no healthy way to avoid random one shots in maps the way game is atm...

I have the same issue with this shrine and also the lightning shrine.
I am a res capped armour char with 3.5k life and high regen and this just almost one taps me every time. |

Yup would like to add my support to this as well. Meteoric shrine just insta one-tapped my HC L77 Warrior with 3K health and 3k ES. Zero chance to react. 3days of play time and no idea how many divs of gear down the drain. Honestly F this game.

I'm ok with the damage but there are issues:
- until you activate the Shrine, you are vulnerable to its damage, however it can be quite clunky to activate the shrine, it is difficult to click, and it is made worse when you have some FPS lag - the falling meteors are huge, the ground effects are obvious - which is good - but overall it is VERY distracting and makes it hard to focus on other threats on the screen - besides, it looks really goofy I would suggest to make the meteors at least half smaller, which would make them more realistic (ie. small stones falling from the sky), and maybe have them rapidly zoom out as they land (sense of depth) I would change the ground effect to more like a pulsing circle and not such a flashy flaming ring That said if it was just me, I don't find this mechanic of being vulnerable to an inactivated shrine very interesting gameplay wise. The game is complex enough as it is. |
