GGG Please read this... its a server provider related issue
The servers on Brazil have been having routing issues since a long time.
The main issue is that SoftLayer has terrible routing, my ISP fixed multiple times routing issues with this provider but the issues keep coming back... I'm from Argentina in my case connections with this provider jump from Argentina to EEUU-Miami to Brazil but its the only provider with that issue. Basically every IP under the 169.57.128.0/17 CIDR notation(all SoftLayer addresses) has the same issue. I noticed that since the launch of POE2 we have more providers for POE2 servers mainly Tencent under the 43.157.0.0 IP block and some times Google, both of them have great routing so please switch all servers to these providers. And also before you think is an issue exclusively with me it isn't if you go to the Brazilian forum you will see that a lot of people from the same city of the datacenter have the same issue. Basically SoftLayer BAD and our overlords Tencent and Google GOOD Last bumped on Jan 24, 2025, 11:51:42 PM

Use a VPN or get Star Link, There is NOTHING that GGG can do about 3rd world Brazilian ISP companies and their trash routing.

" if you had read the post you will know that they can just change providers to one of the other 2 they already are using and ditch SoftLayer completely, for the moment I'm using cloudflare warp + their split tunnel option to somewhat bypass this issue but its not a great solution since using a vpn also means having some packet loss and added latency also they could just add the other 2 providers in the server selection instead of automatically assigning users to a random one also its not an ISP issue is a softlayer issue, they have similar reports all over the world because of how they broadcast their BGP settings... and why would i get starlink when i have 600mb fiber and only ping issues with one server company |

" Also it is probably EASIER for them to get the tencent ISP, due to being a subsiduary |

Not from America, but seems like a great feedback. |

+1.
I'm paying a VPN just so that I'm able to circumvent this, but it depends on what VPN server I'm connecting to. Please, GGG, look into this. |
