Character Offline Bug

One of my characters is constantly appearing offline so friends aren't able to invite me to the party, but when I switch over to a different character, the issue disappears. The character in question is also unable to interact with the guild chest and only able to put items into the chest and cannot take any items out. I am able to invite friends to my party but the character will still appear offline.
