Trouble redeeming early access key.

Hi PoE2 tech team.

When I press the log in button it says I do not have access to early access. My friend gave me a early access key, I have redeemed it on the website and steam with the issued steam key. When I tried to input the code on steam it says my account already has this item. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the launcher, but am at a loss to the next step in trouble shooting, any assistance would be greatly apricated.
