Please help me out with my Warbringer! I'm struggling

I'm level 75 on my Warbringer on PC. I'm mostly following the best player's guide I could find, but my Warbringer feels weak. My friends (a Stormweaver and a Granadier) on console, who don't follow any guides and have worse gear, have faster clear speeds than me on maps. I can let that go, at least I'm having fun... am I?...

I have the best gear I can get at my level. Why am I so weak?

The worst part is that I've tried the 3rd trial over 10 times now. I've spent many hours, and it seems impossible. Why am I getting stunlocked and one-shot by -65 mobs? I have a lot of armor and HP; I'm a Warbringer. Is that normal? I've actually invested a ton in armor. Warbringer's Armor Explosion was nerfed significantly, and it seems like streamers are showing the slowest clear speeds with this class. Why isn't it tanky then at least?

What am I doing wrong?

Can any strong Warbringer please reach out to me and help me out?

(I'm trying to follow Woolie's Armor Break Warbringer but I dont have giant blood yet because I cant use my lv78 weapon)

I've already leveled a Witch to 55 (before warrior), and while the experience was somewhat better, it was also more unfun. (and also a ranger to 30 at first which i bricked by going only poison and dealing 0 damage)

I dont have the strength to start a 4th char hoping its not getting nerfed to oblivion (like warbringer when removing armour break chain)

I want to make it work.... but I'm also starting to have that bad feeling..

try to get the witch to maps. that stands the best chance. warrior is just awful in endgame and you probably wont be able to do the trials with it either

in endgame, its like 60%+ Stormweaver, right? if I had no characters, you would suggest to start that? (for endgame)

I heard that infernalists also complain sometimes...

Warrior seems more like character for bossing. He has pretty good burst dmg. He will strugle with clear as all melee do compared to ranged. Thats just the nature of this kind of games.

i play minions. with grim feast on its just a walking simulator. can facetank pretty much anything. even if grim feast is nerfed minions will still be one of the best builds
