Cannot Launch Game From Steam

Hi, I was playing POE 2 on steam when I experienced a crash. I was unable to end the task from task manager, so I restarted my computer.

After which, when I logged into steam still says the game is "running" and I cannot launch the game. Telling steam to "stop" the game does nothing, and there is no instance of the game running on my computer.

Any help in addressing this situation would be appreciated.

Update, I downloaded the standalone client, and was able to login from after entering an Account Unlock Code. I'm still unable to login on Steam. But I can at least play the game!
